I prefer to shoot wildlife in the wild, but once in a while I visit a zoo or similar location and get a photo of a captive animal that I really like. This particular eagle was injured and brought to a rehabilitation center, but unfortunately he couldn’t be released back into the wild due to his injuries. That didn’t diminish the nobility I saw when I looked at him and got this shot.
